Ingredients:

1 medium onion, chopped

1 celery stick

2 garlic cloves

1 tablespoon water

2 tablespoons of oil

2 teaspoons of dried thyme

5 cooked tomatoes

½ bottle of el yucateco chipotle sauce

4 ¼ c of chicken broth

1 lb. Ground turkey

1 egg

4 tablespoons of bread crumbs

3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce

Preparation:

1.Blend the onion, celery and garlic with the water. Heat the oil, fry the onion mix (reserving 2 tablespoons), then add 1 teaspoon of dried thyme.

2.Blend the tomatoes, the chicken broth and half of the chipotle sauce and then add to the fried sauce, let it simmer.

3.Combine the beef, the egg, the rest of the chipotle sauce the bread crumbs, the parmesan cheese and the worcestershire sauce. Mix well then form meat balls and place them in the simmering broth, let them cook for 45 minutes and serve.
